As Motley Crue wraps up their career, the band is getting a special send-off. Big Machine Records founder Scott Borchetta is putting together a Motley Crue country tribute album.
Borchetta admits he wasn't sure what the response would be when he proposed the project, but says it's been met with a great deal of enthusiasm so far. He also anticipates more stars will want to sign on now that he's gone public with the idea.
One Big Machine artist Borchetta doesn't expect to hear from is Taylor Swift, but he adds "who knows?"
The album is expected to be released this summer, in conjunction with the launch of Motley Crue's Final Tour.
