There's more evidence of progress in Randy Travis' recovery.

Neal McCoy has posted a photograph of him with Randy Friday on his Facebook page, from Randy's first public appearance since he suffered a stroke last summer.

McCoy says the picture was taken at the Smiles For Life concert in Dallas, and marked "Randy's first time out and his first time to have Cowboy boots on since his illness.  Gettin Better!!!"

McCoy was the headliner for the fundraiser, which took place on January 30th.  The picture with Travis follows photographs that surfaced last month of him with friends and family members.

Last week Randy's father told "Closer Weekly" his son was "getting his voice back now, little by little," while an unnamed source added that Randy was "anxious to get back to work and connect with his fans."

Travis suffered a stroke last July.  There have been no official updates on his condition since he left a physical therapy center in October.
