    #4.) The Retreat at Lake Tamaha Pool is the largest pool in Tuscaloosa, located just off Jack Warner Parkway. Open to residents and guests, it's the always filled with students unwinding from a day of work and classes.

    #3.) Bessemer's Splash Adventure Water Park is just a quick drive up I-20/59 from Tuscaloosa. After going through a name change and the removal of the theme park, Splash Adventure returns as simply a fun water park.

    #2.) UA Rec Center Pool, Lazy River and Slide. Free to students and open to anyone with a membership the UA Rec Center's fantastic pool is open with a Lazy River and large Water Slide.

    #1.) Named after Alabama’s only female governor, Lake Lurleen State Park, which is located in Coker, has something for just about everyone. For $3, one has access to swimming areas, boat ramps, boat rentals, fishing areas, picnic tables, hiking trails and more. A state fishing license is required to fish, but licenses are available for purchase inside the park. Park hours are from 7 a.m. to sunset each day.
